The Domaine de Lindre offers a vision of a unique landscape with its 1000 hectares of water, reeds, meadows and forests. The origin of the Lindre pond back to the Middle Ages, probably at the instigation of religious communities implanted Vergaville, in order to feed the fish populations during the lean days imposed by the Church.

The flora of the ponds is remarkable (18 protected species at regional, one national).
